Dresses:
H&M sells this cute (and rather cheap) jersey dresses for 79.95 kr (danish money) which are simple and easy to style up or down.. But that being said, they don't really hide your bloated stomach, do they? Quite the contrary, so if you don't want to look bloated - stay away from these kind of dresses until you're comfortable wearing them again.
This kind of dress on the other hand (like this dress also from H&M at only 99.95 kr) will do the trick. See the way it goes in around your waist and then out in the bottom? That will set the focus on your waist and away from you belly.
Tops:
I recommend staying away from tight tops (although this top from ASOS at £12.00 is pretty cute) because they go flat down, making the bloated part of your body rather visible.
One word if you're trying to "hide" a bloated stomach while wearing a top: Peplum.
Peplum, peplum, peplum. It's funny to say and it covers up the bloated-ness by again; going in around the waist and then out in the bottom. And also they look cute with just about anything! Trousers, leggings, skirts - even cropped jumpers! You can get this beautiful peplum top at ASOS for only £9.99!
Trousers:
Basically you can wear any trousers if you're feeling bloated, but high-waisted and kind of baggy (also high-waisted) trousers will probaly hide the bloated-ness the most (and you don't have to wear a peplum shirt with it, because the high-waisted part of the trousers already do the trick)
So those were my tips on how to cover up a bloated stomach! Remember: This is not meant as; "You need to hide your belly because it's not completely flat", a curvey or round stomach is just as beautiful as a flat one. This is simply just because I know that I, myself can get a little insecure about the way my stomach looks when it's bloated, so I thought: "Maybe some other girls feel the same way?" and decided to share my tricks and tips on it.
Hope you enjoyed it and feel free to comment your tips and trick or opinions.
xoxo Sara.
